Help,
I just connected my first used CJ PV-15 (Audiogon) to my Musical Fidelity AC3 CD and an Sansui tuner, to my Linn 5125 amp driving my Linn 140's speakers that are connected to two Musical Fidelity 550k superchargers. Problem is that I have no sound at all save for the sound of wind. Anyway, I currently have it disconnect from my primary system and have it connected to an Rotel amp to see if it kicks in after an hour or two. Any advise?
First CJ pre amp PV-15

First, welcome to the site!
To help you out, some more info would be appreciated:
1) Does the preamp turn on, lights and controls functioning?
2) Is there no sound with all inputs or just some?
3) Have you tried to swap out another preamp to make sure it not the amp or speakers?
4) Have you opened it up to look for any obvious signs of defects such as burnt components, broken contacts, etc...?

Re: First CJ pre amp PV-15
1) Preamp turns on after 45 seconds, volume is at 40 and all the lights are on.
2) no sound, just fee back which sounds like wind
3) yes, swap it with my Rotel 1068 preamp, and different speakers
4) not yet
thanks for the reply.
