Tube Longevity in Premier 17LS2

Wondering how long 6922 tubes have run in others Premier 17LS2 before they need replacing, both "generally" and with regard to OEM vs NOS.

The earlier CJ preamps did not run their tubes hard. You should be able to get 3,000 hours and possibly 5,000 which is the typical rating for 6922 tubes. NOS may very well last longer than that. If you wish, get a backup set and after you clock say 2,000 to 3,000 hours on the set you've been using replace them with the backups and see what you think.
