CJ Website updates prices

Post by Big Dog RJ »

Greetings from down unda maties!

Something very interesting, not sure why the sudden price indication... especially on highend gear.

Anyway, looks like prices have been included on every product line. Yet again, the new ART108A's have not been included. Hopefully they'll have it up soon.

Cheers, and enjoy those fine tunes!

I think this is a first. I’ve never seen the prices listed before.

I like that they’ve done this. It takes the mystery out of the definition of a good deal.

Yep, without a doubt!

Like to see what others have to say... good vs bad.

Is this the right direction though? I don't know....
What about the dealers, especially those in duty free markets. Maybe this can be used as a benchmark or price indicator, in which case like you said, getting a good deal...

We'll have to see how this works out, and most probably I'd be having a few discussions with my Spore mates.
Until them, cheers

Definitely new and interesting to see.

Not sure what the idea behind this is, but I suppose the more info presented to a potential buyer the better. I wonder if this could possibly be a foray into direct sales? I think the CJ dealership network has shrunk over the past decade or two and maybe direct sales is on the horizon? Who knows? If they did do direct sales, that could mean an ability to significantly drop the price of the units as there would be no middle man. It's also a dangerous move as you would alienate dealers.... Direct sale has certainly worked well for some startup brands like Schiit.

One thing I’ve seen is that the importer sets their prices, typically cost plus. So that new price list doesn’t say

“US only, see official importer web site for pricing in your country”

But that may be implied.

It's down on the right in the item individual item page.
