This another gem … 40 years old this year.

I’ve had it since new so it’s in mint condition.

The system’s not yet warmed up, but it’s already showing things off.

I may try to stream it later just for comparison.

Meanwhile, this was/is a solid piece of post Zeppelin work. It shows why his collaborations with Alison Krauss work so well.

Just noticed Phil Collins on the drums.
It’s just stuff. I like mine. I hope you like yours. I probably like yours too.

I found it on QoBuz at 16/44.1.

There is something not right about the bass on many of these streams when they’re directly compared to the vinyl. Not just the bass, but the bass stands out as less real … softer, less well defined.

There is an extended version available on QoBuz too.

If streaming were able to reliably deliver the goods, it would supplant hard media. But it can’t. So it won’t.

I'll have to put this album on the playlist.

I don't think the streaming version(s) are going to satisfy you like the vinyl. You can utilize it for what it is good for. Maybe listening to those extended version tracks for example. Digital does not need to supplant hard media. However, it can supplement it.

At 150 Mbps it is satisfying.

Too bad there isn’t an internet regenerator like PS Audio’s power regenerators. 🤣🤣🤣

Call Paul McGowan up to tell him to start working on one.... with galvanic isolation. :)

This error stuff is the logic behind the ring DAC.
