Hello from the UK

Post by iml »

I've been dabbling with hifi for 40 years, but I've only recently tried c-j. I'm now the proud owner of a PV-7 preamp and an MF-80 power amp, both at least 30 years old, and sounding fantastic. The phono stage in the PV-7 is especially good. Very happy with this setup, it plays everything beautifully. Rest of the system is a Lenco 75 restored by me, with a Jelco arm and an Ortofon SPU #1, an Ortofon T20 MC stepup transformer, a 47 Labs Shigaraki CD transport, a Soncoz DAC, Yamaha streamer, and a Leak Stereofetic tuner. Speakers are a pair of Rogers 50th Anniversary LS3/5a.

G'day mate!

Welcome to CJO.
That's some real nice gear, absolute Classic!
Now add a nice tube amplifier to the PV7 and Rogers and you'll get an even better Classic sound!

Cheers to vintage! Enjoy those fine tunes !
