This is another of the seven performances that DAW thought really allowed the Master Chronosonics to strut their stuff.
This recording was the premier for Jarvi and the Bremen Orchestra. I would have thought from listening to the performance that they’d been teaching master classes on performance for recordings forever.
Pentatone is one of my favorite labels for orchestral SACDs, and this one may be the one I like BEST of all I’ve heard.
Some of DAW’s suggestions have sounded quite good on the Sabrinas, but this one is special. Great performance and great sound. Can’t wait to hear it on the Chronosonic XVXs soon, and the Sasha DAWs in December.
