I hope it will give them impetus to mix their albums with less dynamic range compression.

I share the sentiment.
The problem is that the compression is intentional because of the Alexa and ear bud habits of such a large segment of the market.
At least these fellows are now aware of what their process sounds like when played on a solid mid fi home system. That is a start.
