Gideon (AudioArts is the Zellaton importer) tells me that the CJ install included the highest levels in the Schnerzinger line (which appear to be similar in cost to AQ’s Mythical Creature’s top line).

The old Zellatons that were replaced date back to the time when AudioArts carried CJ in their product lineup.

I've never heard the Schnerzinger cables but I did hear Zellaton speakers almost 10 years ago at the NY Audio Show. I was really impressed with their sound and that's not always the case at these shows where the room may not be suitable for the equipment being auditioned or the demonstrator has a heavy hand with the volume control, etc. The Zellaton room (I no longer remember the sponsor) was a pleasure and I may have spent the most time listening to their installation.

I'm in a similar boat. Last time I heard Zellaton speakers was a number of years ago but I was very impressed. It was outside of my price range so it was more of a "fun listen" vs true consideration. I think if CJ is dropping big money (for a small company like them) on their listening room I think that is a good sign of their overall financial status.

I haven’t got much to say about CJ … I don’t want to be accused of stalking my ex. But there are occasional discussions where my input might be useful.
