I want to say thanks to you admin, roberto, aj, rj and others who contribute to this forum. There's a reason this forum is sought/read/valued and you guys are the reason. We may differ in certain respects and I think IMHO that's a good thing but it is never mean-spirited and always to the betterment of the members.
That's all I wanted to say.

Re: Apropos of nothing
Joe, you are a major reason that others (like me) stay. A true gentleman… and a serious tube and CJ scholar.
I’ve learned a lot from your contributions. Thanks,

It’s just stuff. I like mine. I hope you like yours. I probably like yours too.
Re: Apropos of nothing
Well said and a big thank you for all of you who contribute their knowledge, insight, and experiences here on CJO. I never expected this forum to become such a treasure trove of insightful commentary all those years ago when I first put it up online. So again, thank you all for your time, effort, and thoughtfulness.
I shall endeavor to keep up my end of the bargain. In the next month or so I will be moving the site to a new (and hopefully better) hosting company that will ensure the site is set up for future upgrades on the backend and should ensure years of improved reliability, security, and stability.

Re: Apropos of nothing
Here here! Well said Joe mate.
We're not the only ones who contribute... there far more CJO's who don't post much, simply because they're enjoying the music!
We've also got a few others with vast technical knowledge who've fully refurbed vintage units to glorious levels! It's a passion that they possess and it's certainly wonderful to see these things come back to life. Keep those tubes a glowing!
Yes, cheers to Admin, without him we wouldn't be here in the first place. Like I've mentioned before, at some point in time it would be fantastic to meet our members in person, have a blast and talk shop. Perhaps we could all meet at Robbo's place in Costa Rica, that would be great! Perhaps one day maties.
Until then, signing off from Down unda.
Oh! And most of all, do enjoy those finest tunes!
Woof! RJ

The fact that our membership is international adds flavor to the stew for sure.
Your mentioning the guys who restore older, vintage CJ equipment brings to mind classic cars. It is most definitely a rewarding passion and reminds us that this was a hobby to begin with.

Hey Joe,
You are the man. I do trust in your ears my friend!.
I have to apologize to all of you, for not to been here as I did before.
For those who like very good recordings, there is a Swedish guitar player Peder Af Ugglas. His style reminds me Mark Knopfler - David Gilmore. I was not aware of his music and in a certain way, he is doing good melodies. Here are some samples:

Happy listen to you!
